IEC is Hiring
We are Expanding Team IEC. The Electoral Commission also known as (IEC) is gearing up for the upcoming Local Government Elections, and we’re calling on passionate South Africans to join us at municipal level.
Key Responsibilitiesand Duties:
- Help educate, inform, and mobilise communities to participate in all electoral activities ahead of the upcoming elections.
- You will play a vital role in promoting civic and democracy education
- Ensuring accessibility for persons with disabilities in the voting process.

Minimum Requirements and Experience :
- National Senior Certificate /N3
- At least 3-year degree (or equivalent)
- Work experience in community mobilisation experience
- Strong facilitation and communication skills
- Must have a cellphone
- Knowledge of elections and voter education is advantageous
- Must live in or know the municipality you’re applying for
- Must be South African citizen
- Sober Habit
- No Criminal Record
