Our School Governing Body (SGB) is looking for an experienced educators to join the teaching team at Wartburg Kirchdorf School. This is an SGB Position, to
start on the 12th of January 2026.

Positions Available

Isizulu First Additional Language (GET/ FET Phase)
Grade 1 – Locum Post ends on 20th April 2026

Minimum Requirements (Grade 1 Teacher)

Foundation phase (Grade 1-3) Teaching Qualifications (Diploma or Degree)
Be Sace Registered
Police Clearance
Involvement and Experience in Sport will be advantageous

Minimum Requirements ( Isizulu Educator)

GET & FET Phase Teaching Qualification
(B.Ed or Degree + PGCE with isiZulu Language Specialisation).
Matric marking experience will be an advantage.
Be SACE registered.
A Police Clearance Certificate

Added advantage

Be in possession of a PDP or be willing to apply for one once appointed.
Ability to communicate effectively with current as well as prospective parents.
Must be able to coach sports offered at the school.
Must be able to contribute to the values and ethos of the school.
Ability to teach MLT- Grade 10/11 will be an advantage.

General Role

To plan, control and report on Assessments.
To attend meetings, forums, workshops for the Grade/Phase as required.
To manage and promote learning within the class.
To manage and contribute to the sport and cultural activities within the school.
To manage discipline within the classroom.
