As SIOC Community Development Trust (SIOC-CDT), we invites learners and students to apply for the 2026 bursary funding for post-matric study.
Our funding opportunity aims at supporting the youth from beneficiary communities (Camargue, Ca-Segonyana, Joe Morolong, Tsantsabane, and Thabazimbi beneficiary communities) to prepare for an economically sustainable livelihood.
Bursary Requirements
- Only SIOC Citizens residing in and/or originating from SIOC-CDT beneficiary communities can apply.
- Age of applicant must not be older than 35 years by the closing date of the application.
- Accepted/provisionally accepted at the relevant Public Higher Education Institution for 2026 academic year.
- In financial need to fund under/postgraduate study with preference given to undergraduates.
- People with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

Documents Required
- A certified copy of your South African ID
- A copy of your latest academic results (Grade 12 June results OR Grade 12 Prelims results, University 1st semester results OR Final results where application is for 2nd year onwards)
- A certified copy of your final NSC result if completed before 2025
- Recent proof of residence (not older than 3 months)
- Proof of income of Parent or Guardian (most recent payslip) or certified declaration of unemployment (not older than 3 months); or affidavit confirming you do not have parents/guardians or SASSA Grant recipient
- Medical Certificate confirming type of disability (if applicable)
